The NAPM - Greater Syracuse, Inc.
is a non-profit professional organization that serves
individuals working in or aspiring to seek a career in
purchasing and materials management related fields. Three
levels of membership are available:

Full
Membership |
Annual dues of $170 (new
members add $40 for first year administrative fees).
Full membership includes membership at the National level
as well as the local level.
Dues include 8 monthly pre-dinner workshops, 8 monthly
dinner meetings, and the local monthly newsletter, "The Requisitioner".
Dues also include discounts on all local and National ISM
educational events and materials.
Full members will also receive the monthly magazine
"Inside Supply Mamangement" and have access to resources
available through ISM - Tempe, AZ, including access to
reports and studies by the prestigious Center for Advanced
Purchasing Studies (CAPS).

Associate
Membership |
Annual dues of $110 (new
members add $20 for first year administrative fees).
Associate members are members of the local affiliate only.
Dues include 8 monthly pre-dinner workshops, 8 monthly
dinner meetings, and the local monthly newsletter, "The Requisitioner".
Associate members have restricted access to National
resources.
Dues do not include discounts on educational events and
materials from National.

Student/Educator
Membership |
No annual dues.
Student members will receive all local mailings and
discounts on local educational events and materials.
Student members are welcome to attend the monthly
workshops at no charge; however student members wishing to
attend the monthly dinner meeting will be subject to
paying a fee for the meal. |

In addition to the numerous educational opportunities
afforded to members, regular members of NAPM - Greater
Syracuse are eligible to receive one of four annual
scholarships (each scholarship is for $500) awarded annually
to a member or immediate dependant of a member.
The NAPM also serves as an advocate of the purchasing
profession. Key to the association's ability to effectively
promote professionalism is ISM's Professional Certifications -
the C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) and the C.P.S.M.
(Certified Professional in Supply Managgement). These Professional
Certifications are internationally recognized as objective
evidence of an individuals skills and competencies in the
fields of purchasing and materials management.
